Own product — product feeds

A product feed service that publishes the catalogue from Shopify to marketplaces such as eBay and Kaufland and processes titles and descriptions with AI.

The challenge

A merchant with a Shopify store wants to sell on marketplaces such as eBay and Kaufland as well, but every marketplace has its own categories, its own required fields and its own rules for titles and variants. Uploading the catalogue by hand is slow, and when prices and stock are kept in two places, goods that are not there get sold.

Marketplace orders also have to reach the store so they are fulfilled in the usual way.

What we built

UltraFeeds connects the Shopify store to the marketplaces. The catalogue is read from Shopify, products are mapped to marketplace categories by template, and variants are grouped the way the marketplace expects. A single product's title, description or price can be changed without touching the store.

AI suggests titles and descriptions that fit the marketplace's rules. Prices and stock update automatically, and eBay orders are transferred into Shopify, with an option to hold them for review.

The service is a standalone product with accounts and plans. Each customer connects their channels and sees how many products they have listed and what they have sold through them. Existing eBay listings can be imported and linked to the store's products instead of being created again.

  • Connection to Shopify and to the eBay and Kaufland marketplaces
  • Marketplace category templates
  • Variant grouping
  • Per-product changes without touching the store
  • AI titles and descriptions
  • Marketplace orders into Shopify
  • Customer accounts and plans

What changed

The catalogue is published to the marketplace from one place, and prices and stock follow the store without being maintained twice.

A marketplace order lands in Shopify and is fulfilled the same way as any other.

Marketplace feeds

The Shopify catalog is published to eBay, Kaufland and other marketplaces, with titles and descriptions that can be suggested by AI. A manual edit to a listing overrides the feed and survives the next run. Marketplace orders go into the merchant's system, and the tracking number is sent back.

Listing quality

The system scores each listing on what the marketplace uses for ranking and filters: the recommended attributes for its category, the title, photos, barcode and description. The weakest listings come first, with a note on exactly what is missing. Scoring sends nothing to the marketplace. It only shows where work is needed.

Item check before publishing

Before every run to a marketplace, items pass the same check. The system fixes safe things such as price format or item condition by itself and lists what it changed. A duplicate SKU or a missing required field stops only that item, and the screen says why. That way no listing goes out only to be rejected later.

Bulk price change for listings

Prices of all listings on one marketplace site are raised in one go within a set range, with a rule for what the price ends in. Before the change the system pulls the listings again from the marketplace, so nothing is calculated from an outdated copy. Next to the button the account's remaining monthly selling limit is shown.

Buyer messages

You read and answer conversations with eBay buyers from the dashboard without logging in to eBay. Nothing is stored on our side. The thread loads from eBay when you open it and the reply goes straight there. If the account lacks the required permission, you get a reconnect button instead of an empty screen.

AI product copy

The system writes each description to a fixed template with the same sections for every product, then adapts it for each store and language. The text is built from the product's own data. A person reviews it and saves it.

AI mail triage

Every incoming email gets a priority, category, language and short summary, so urgent mail is seen first. A foreign-language email is translated with one button.
